Noah Weiland, son of the late Scott Weiland, will honor his father’s memory with a special performance of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver songs on December 3rd – the 10th anniversary of Scott’s passing – at the Garden Amp amphitheater in Orange County, California. The double-bill will also feature a set by Jakob Nowell, son of Sublime’s Bradley Nowell, who will also be paying tribute to his late dad’s music and legacy. Noah plans to surprise fans with a setlist featuring hits and deep cuts from his dad’s catalog, while backed by a band including guitarist Carr Reed, bassist Miles Christian Davis, and drummer Connor J Sears. Noah has embraced his father’s music after years of a “tough posthumous relationship,” and looks forward to celebrating his legacy, while also revealing that he has had little contact with Stone Temple Pilots members and expressed openness to reconnecting with them.
