Talking Heads Turn Down $80M Offer To Reunite

The Talking Heads have reportedly turned down an $80 million offer to reunite for six to eight shows.
That’s according to Billboard, which reports the offer was made by concert promoter Live Nation.

The offer followed a similar proposal by Goldenvoice president Paul Tollett, who offered the band $10 million to reunite for the two-day Coachella festival, per Billboard.

Although all four members of the Talking Heads reunited last year for a 40th anniversary screening of Stop Making Sense, the last time they actually performed together was in 2002, when they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
