YMCA Will Offer Free Online Workout Classes For People During the Quarantine

The YMCA wants to make sure that people stuck at home due to the coronavirus are still able to stay fit and healthy.

It was announced on Wednesday that the YMCA will be offering 60+ exercise classes and children’s programs online for free.  In a press release announced by the organization they stated, “{This will help} support the health and well-being of the community.”

Classes being offered include boxing, weight lifting, barre, yoga and many more.

According to the YMCA’s communications director, Jonny Eberle, the online classes have been in the works for awhile now and they recently decided to speed up the process.  In the midst of the coronavirus outbreak, The YMCA agreed that it would be best to launch the classes now and make them available to everyone.

The classes are available at https://ymca360.org/.  Live classes will also be held at the Y’s social media accounts.

There is no membership necessary for these online classes.
