To train Chaffee spent at least three hours per day on his training bike and rode about 2,100 miles before the marathon. He reached his goal of a top-five finish.finishing with the fourth-best time in his group!
The Boston Marathon is always held on Patriots’ Day, which is on the third Monday of April. The race began in 1897 and is 26.2 in length.
Now that Chaffee has the Boston Marathon behind him he is now setting his sites on qualifying for the 2020 Paralympic
